Automatic Restore Through Cron or Other Methods | Feature Request | Forum Archive

Hi,

First, Xcloner is the best backup utility I have ever used with Joomal and I love that it can be run standalone form HTML sites as well.

The entire backup process is fully automated and it has been thought about  thoroughly. The Restore process is excellent and works flawlessly. I wanted to make the restore process more automated instead of having to click Start Install (Xcloner.php) I was wondering whether we could automate that process by providing the necessary paths/sql data before hand and then every week just get the Xcloner.php to run and restore my site to a backup server.

I have been able to enter the path/sql data in Xcloner.php but I still requires Start Install and then for the SQL to be restore it requires click continue.

I can provide all the information in Xcloner.php without the need to click on any button. Then it would be possible to run it as a cron job or automate it completely.
