I create and maintain web sites, but I've never used Joomla and am asking on behalf of someone else. I asked this group if they could include an HTML "A NAME" tag with the headlines of the stories on their page so that I could then link directly to a particular story (rather than linking to the page and then users having to scroll to find the particular story). I am guessing that, since this is a basic HTML command, Joomla probably allows one to do this, but since I haven't worked with Joomla, I have no clue how.
Could someone please list the steps necessary in order to place an "A NAME" HTML tag in a page generated using Joomla?
Thanks!

HI there! So i am guessing you want to display multiple stories on the same page, and create an index of them for easier browsing?
The actual term fo describe the A NAME tag is anchor, here is a small tutorial on how to create them http://www.echoecho......inks08.htm
A search on google for "how to create html anchor", will also reveal several usefull pages.
Hope it helps! Ovidiu
