When my cron task runs every 2 days, it doesnt seem to be making the correct backup. It's not fully backing up the site. only coming out at about 50 mb when it should be around 400+mb.

cron task:

0 0 */2 * *

/usr/local/bin/php /home/extreme/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/cloner.cron.php

here is the email i get from my cron:

<b>Using default configuration file</b><br
/>
<b>Starting
/home/extreme/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/cloner.cron.php</b><br
/>
<b>Starting XCloner for site http://www.egworld.net at 2011-03-11
00:00</b><br />
<b>Creating a fullbackup</b><br
/>
<b>Generating Backup ...</b><br />

Why doesnt it ever say it is done?

Hi Jordan! The cron log should indeed return a success message when finished, the issue you have could be related to either a php timeout or a php error which is not displayed, enabling php errors display would help!

Try and leave the Compressin mode to Off and see if it helps, if so, then it might be a php memory_limit which you will need to increase for the compressions mode option.

Regarding the Manual Backup, try and set that to Yes, and also set the Backup refresh mode option to AJAX in your XCloner COnfig->System tab and see if you have anymore issues.

Best way would be to go with the default XCloner settings, usually they are tunned for the most restrictive hosts, an XCloner re-install would be advised for this option.

Hoipe it helps! Ovidiu

My guess is that you are trying to backup an extra database you might not have permissions to, check the one that has 249 bytes in backup size.

Sorry, i was referring to the cron log line that said

<b>.._..:</b> Backup Completed ( 249 bytes )<br />

Try and check if the mysql user has reading permissions on that database, otherwise try and exclude it and see if you have anymore issues,
