I set up the cron job for x-cloner per intructions, but I am getting the following email from cron daemon, and no backup is being created...

Warning: include_once(admin.cloner.

html.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/configs/cloner.cron.php on line 18

Warning: include_once(cloner.functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/configs/cloner.cron.php on line 19

Warning: require_once(./configs/abundantbackup.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/configs/cloner.cron.php on line 42

The backup works fine when I click Execute Cron in the setup window. All help appreciated.

Hi Thomas, the correct path to the cloner.cron.php file is

/home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php

try that and see if it helps, it can be run from the configs/ folder

OK... changed to what you suggested and got this error via email from cron daemon...

<b>Using default configuration file</b><br />

<b>Starting /home/abundant/public_html/wp-

content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php</b><br />

<b>Starting XCloner for site abundantlyfrugal.com at 2011-02-08 14:43</b><br />

<b>Creating a fullbackup</b><br />

<b>Generating Backup ...</b><br />

<center><font color='red' size='4'>Your backup directory /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/backups/ is not writeable or does not exists!</font></center><b>Backup Done</b><br />

<b>Backup file: /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/backups//</b><br />

<b>Total backup size:4 KB</b><br />

<b></b><br />

<b>AMAZON S3: Starting communication with the Amazon S3 server...</b><br />

Warning: S3::inputFile(): Unable to open input file: /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/backups// in /home/abundant/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/classes/S3.php on line 262

<b>AMAZON S3: Failed to copy file to {site-backups-lucidpage}/abundantlyfrugal/</b><br />

Does this file do anything then? The one created by the cron setup?

Could you post here a screenshot after your XCloner Config Info tab?

Something is wrong with the paths you have setup there, please make sure that the administrator/backups directory exists inside your configured Backup Start Path(check XCloner wiki), and also the Backups Store Path is correct

Problem resolved... permissions of backup folder were incorrect. Thanks for helping point me in the right direction!

Just a note, your Backup Start Path seems to point to the XCloner folder, i am guessing you don't want to backup XCloner only 🙂 ? That path should point usually to the folder you want to backup.

Cheers! Ovidiu

Usually when installing XCloner it setups the default paths correctly, so yes, in your case /home/abundant/public_html/ would be correct
