Download path mismatch

My back up is created OK and is visible properly in the backup listing page but when I try to download the file there is a mismatch between where the file is located and the location that my browser wants to retrieve it from.
This is the location of the actual file:
/administrator/backups/
And this is where the download is trying to find it:
administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/index2.php?option=com_cloner&task=download&file=/backup_2016-05-10_01-43_xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.org-sql-nodrop.tar.
What is wrong?
