Hello,

I am using XCloner standalone Version and Backing up a Domain and several Sub Domains.

Now I have the problem, that every folder that is backed up, but was empty in the source, simply is not created in the backup structure.

This is a problem, because I do also need the empty folders for some reasons.

I haven't found any Information about this, how can i get around this. ?

Thank You

Oliver

Hi Oliver, if your server has support for exec server utility as well as tar utility(check th XCloner Config Info tab), you can simply check the Active checkbox near the tar option, as well as set the "Manual backup" option to No, it should help.

Hi Ovidiu,

The Server Info Tab says that everything is ok, and supported. The System will find the tar path and the sql dump path.

TAR Utility Server Path:

  /bin/tar

MySQLDump Utility Server Path:

  /usr/bin/mysqldump

But, I can not activate either one of the Feutures to use these. I mean I can activate them, but I will get an error.

Says: Please check if my server supports the tar funktion....

Or, that the file xxx.sql is not found.

I`ts a bit confusing, because the system inf tells me that these supported methods are found.

(And, In Internet Explorer I can not login to the admin.)

Thank You

Oliver

Try and check with your hosting support and make sure that tar utility is setup correctly, if you like, i can also take a look if you care to open a support ticket.

Cheers, Ovidiu
