Hi!

I want to know if anyone else has tried restoring a Joomla site to an Apache 2/PHP 5 server on Ubuntu and encountered the "You dont have permission to access /clone_dir/XCloner.php" error 403 message shortly after starting the cloning process. Fortunately for me, the site I was cloning was still relatively new so I was able to avoid this error when I attempted to restore again by disabling incremental file and database restore options. Other options were restoring files directly and to a local database. However, I may not be so lucky next time so I'd like to know how to avoid this problem in the future.

Hi Owen, have you tried deleting the restored .htaccess file and see if it helps? It might contain some invalid code making the new site to break!
