Hi Ovidu

I'm setting up a second instance of Xcloner on the same hosting platform and being lazy I copied the files from the first site I got working & had correct permissions etc.

I then changed all the paths and settings to reference the new website. However when I look at 'View Backups',  Xcloner displays backups taken earlier from the first website 🙂

What controls where xcloner looks forprevious backups? My start & backup path are relative to the new site, so I would expect it to look there & show zero previous backups... I checked in cloner.config.php but it's not in there.

Thanks

Bill

I just found a file in 'Configs' folder that was the name of the backup from the first site. It contains the path references to the old backups, so I deleted it. ]

Doesn't help though - View Backups on the new site still points back to the first site.

Felt sure that would be it!

The view backups section lists files from your Backup Store Path config option, try and update that and see if it helps!

Right, & thats how I thought it would work. The Backup Store path was definitely pointing to the new server backup folder and it was already saved. To be sure I just saved it again but it hasn't changed. Weird!

Its almost as if something is cached, so I logged in from another browser but that shows the same thing.

I'll keep poking about & see if I can find anything...

Make sure your XCloner plugin cloner.config.php file is writeable so the changes you made are saved!
