Hi Guys I am only new to xcloner, and hope u can help....

I did a backup with xcloner and now i need to install my site locally on my computer to do some testing.....

But from the manual i don't understand if this is possible because it only talks about restoring and not "reinstalling"

Basically (this is what joomla pacj does but i am fed up with it) i simply want to install my site locally with the back up taken from the site live.

How can I do that?

Hi there! Re-installing is the same process as restoring, please check this restore wiki, it will help.

Basically you need the XCloner restore script we provide, the backup archive, and then follow the restore steps details in the above wiki.
