Hi
No problem to create a crontab on panel for a site on the same server, with :
/usr/bin/php /home/account/public_html/sitefolder/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/cloner.cron.php customconfig.php
But I can't make it when the website is at another hoster.
I tested this command :
wget -q http://www.mysite.co.....r.cron.php?config=mycustomconfig.php
From Cpanel of O2switch (french hoster) to my Joomla site with Xcloner hosted by 1and1.
But no backup.
And when I go directly to http://www.mysite.co.....r.cron.php?config=mycustomconfig.php
I get this error message :
" To run this script you need to create a custom config file inside XCloner Config, and call the script using php cli command like this:
php /homepages/25/dxxxxxxxx/htdocs/sitefolder/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/cloner.cron.php mycustomconfig.php "
The same URL without ?config= displays and error 404.

Thanks.
I was already using http://webcron.org/, and I stopped it, because Cpanel is supposed to do the job. So I'm trying to understand how.

Problem solved.
Cron task :
Then go to : /administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/cloner.cron.php
Comment all the part "####### VERIFY IP ACCESS" (lines 39 to 64).

Hello
This cron task, on one of my hosters Cpanel works for the backup of my Joomla websites on another hoster :
It works on my websites Joomla 2.5.27 + Xcloner 3.5 but not on another in version Joomla 2.5.9
(for now, the upgrade to Joomla 2.5.28 doesn't work)
VERIFY IP ACCESS is commented in cloner.cron.php
Is Xcloner supposed to work with Joomla 2.5.9 ?
