Download error, file not found | Joomla Support | Forum Archive

The download function in the control panel does not work because there appears to be a mismatch between where the files are backed up to and the location that the program is attempting to find them. This means that I always have to download them manually by using my hosting company file manager.

This is where the files are located:
/mywebsite.org/administrator/backups/
and this is where the program is trying to find them:
/mywebsite.org/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/index2.php?option=com_cloner&task=download&file=/backup_file_name.tar

I tried changing the admin config to point to the above string but that fails, I even tried creating a directory to match the above string but even though the file manager says the directory exists when I tried to delete it I get an error saying that it does not exist.
