Im sure this is a simple problem but searching for hours i cannot find the solution

I have made a backup of a joomla site using xcloner , i want to install it on a different domain name with a different database ie mysql

Its also hidden as in http://www.imanidiot.com/test (dont look at that as i made it up just to show you roughly what i mean lol)

However when i do that i get this error -

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /test/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/index2.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Im guessing this is a database problem ?

Any help would be very very much aprecciated

Regards

Ps iv written the permissions to 755 on all files

Try and follow this restore wiki, so to summarize, copy the backup archive and the restore script provided(inside XCloner) to the new location, and start in your browser the XCloner.php restore script, so you are able to continue the restore process.

Do you have a url or screenshot of the issue? Have you checked if the menu you've setup is properly pointing to the new domain? might need to replace the hardcoded urls inside the database.

I guess i was thinking at the "site button link" you mentioned, i imagined you were keeping that in a menu.

Again, i am not sure i understand where you have this issue, so a screenshot or a link to the actual site will help.

Ahh, usually virtuemart has a separate config that needs to be updated with the new url, check the administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtumart.cfg.php file.
