Hi there! The error message you have in your screenshot might be related to some missconfigured paths, make sure the Install url and ftp upload path match as location reference, if not, better use the "Install files directly" option

As for the 500 error, did you check the "incremental sql import" option when restoring? If no, try that!

Hope it helps! Ovidiu

Thanks for replay ,

This is Install directory:

C:/xampp/htdocs/test/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/restore/

and this is Install url :

localhost/test/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/restore/xcloner.php

and the backup file and tar.php and xclone.php are in "restore" Folder !

is there any problem with this ?

. .

and I choose Skip files restore, will attempt to restore only database

and i upload the files already ,

Should i fill in the ftp information ?

Thanks alot ,

Hmm, the paths you have there are incorrect, if you are trying to upload them to the localhost/test/ folder, better move the backup and restore script to that folder and access it as http://localhost/tes.....Cloner.php, if not, modify your Install dir to  C:/xampp/htdocs/test/

If skip files restore is checked, then no ftp details are needed!

the "restore" folder are inside the "test" folder,

and i modefied the

Install directory:

C:/xampp/htdocs/test/restore/

Install Url:

localhost/test/restore/xcloner.php

but the the following error still apperse :

"

Unable to read the database backup file
C:/xampp/htdocs/test/restore//administrator/backups/database-sql.sql ,
database was not imported!

"

but i think i have a problem with colored thing, Right ?

Ok, i think we need to clear first:

1. in which folder is the restore script and backup archive?

2. which is your restore directory?

3. in what directory did you restore the backup files and if in that directory do you see the administrator/backups/database-sql.sql file?

Ok,

1. The Folder "restore" is in the root directory , and the backup file is in folder "restore".

2. I do not Understand this ! , I do not need to backup files , just the database.

3. I have just a one ".tar" backup file from the old server, and I do not see any .sql file

in the same diretory there is nothing but backup.tar and index.html

My suggestion would be to let XCloner to restore the backup archive files, so try and clear the restore location and follow the restore process as detailed in our wiki. So leave the "skip files restore" option unchecked

If you open the backup archive, do you see the file administrator/backups/database-sql.sql in it?

Ok, I will try that,

"

"

No, I do Not

If you don't see that file inside the backup archive, that means you have no database backup, did you get any errors when creating the original backup? Or, by any chance, did you exclude it from the main backup?
