I am running X-cloner OK on 2 websites but the 3rd has some kind of problem. When I try to login for the first time it forces the user name to Admin not admin. I've unistalled and reinstalled it a number of times but can't get past this. In addition if I try to clear the cache I get the following error:

  • Failed
    loading XML file
  • /home/leeds176/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/xcloner-backupandrestore.xml
  • XML: failed
    to load external entity
    "/home/leeds176/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/xcloner-backupandrestore.xml"
  • Failed
    loading XML file
  • /home/leeds176/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/xcloner-backupandrestore.xml
  • XML: failed to load external entity
    "/home/leeds176/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/xcloner-backupandrestore.xml"

Can anyone please help?

Hi Dennis, you seem to have an install issue, please delete the following folders manually:

 

administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/

components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/

 

Once you install again XCloner, check as well that the site php.ini session.save_path option is a valid path so that the login sessions works.

Hi….I do have the problem of logging in in joomla for the first time in local host in wamp server….!!!!

 

Any solution to overcome the problem….????

Please check your sessions.save_path variable from your server php.ini and make sure it points to a valid writeable path, otherwise sessions won't work and neither the login.
