XCloner 3.5

Joomla 1.5.26

I am now unable to successfully log in to the XCloner administrative interface. If I deliberately enter the wrong credentials I see "Incorrect username and/or password". When I use the correct credentials (both the original admin/admin and then with a new password set in cloner.config.php) the log in form submits, and then is presented again with the message "Welcome to the XCloner backend" above it.

I cannot naviagate to any part of the XCloner component, I am just presented with the log in form every time.

I am now also experiencing this issue with XCloner 3.5 installed onto a Joomla 2.5.24 site.

After examining the error logs for the webspaces I was having issues with I noted the following two errors:

[Wed Sep 24 14:46:00 2014] [warn] [client XXXX] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning:  Unknown: open(/var/lib/php/session/sess_b18f96kul967ipu1r97p6kes84, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0, referer: http://DOMAIN.TLD/ad.....index2.php
[Wed Sep 24 14:46:00 2014] [warn] [client XXXX] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning:  Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/lib/php/session) in Unknown on line 0, referer: http://DOMAIN.TLD/ad.....index2.php

I ran yum update this morning and I guess some part of the update changed the permissions on /var/lib/php/session. Following the instructions here corrected my issue.
