I've added a list of exclusions to the Xcloner default configuration. I have also saved the config to a new file (call it myconfig.php) I have tried fully qualified paths and shorter paths. I've tried manually running the backup using the web interface, and also by a command prompt something like:
> php4 cloner.cron.php myconfig.php
No matter what I do, the "excluded" directories are still being backed up.
I'm using 1&1, so a fully qualified path looks something like:
/kunden/homepages/nn/cnnnnnnnnn/htdocs/joomla_install_path
I have tried setting exclusions using the full path and a shorter version. For example, say I want to exclude some_big_directory, a sub-directory of joomla_install_path. I've tried both:
/kunden/homepages/nn/cnnnnnnnnn/htdocs/joomla_install_path/some_big_directory
and
/some_big_directory
to no avail.
Suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Have you tried adding the excluded folder only by name like
some_big_directory
without any trailing slash / ? Also, when making changes, always keep in mind if using custom configs that you should re-save them
Anyway, if you still have issues, open a support ticket and send us the your site ftp and XCloner admin details to check the issue
