FastCGI timeout but extending php timeout works | Old Forum | Forum Archive

I'm trying to run the XCloner script on the new site to restore the backup from the a old site. The process starts but is unable to complete due to a timeout error. I contacted my host who informed me that the max execution time can be extended using the ini_set method, i.e. ini_set('max_execution_time', 600). If I run a simple script I can test that it does extend the php execution time and the script below is able to complete.

XCloner.php sets that variable already but I get the error below. I am NOT running a db restore in my options, import SQL db is NOT checked and I am "installing files directly" What other timeout needs to be extended to have XCloner complete?

FastCGI Error

The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.
Error Details:

The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout
Error Number: 258 (0x80070102).
Error Description: The wait operation timed out.
HTTP Error 500 - Server Error.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

NI know its a tieout error
