xCloner Backup takes hours

Hello,

I tried to manually generate my first backups with xCloner zipped to /html/administrator/backups in my joomla 1.5 installation. They take hours. The first one I had to interrupt after half an hour as I had to go offline. The second one is running for more than 75 minutes now, but it has only saved about 40 % until now. The installation includes a second one for one subdomain. I think this shouldn’t be the problem, because these installations are quite new, including not much more than the joomla exemple content in the databases. What went wrong?

Please open a support ticket and send us your site url, Joomla admin and XCloner login details to check the issue!

Are you using both 'Active' checkboxes unchecked in your XCloner Config?

No, it has nothing to do with server load.
I just tested compression on localhost and it takes hours as well. (no such thing as "server load" but dual core cpu which has nothing to do...)
