Infinite Loop error when Cloning a backup | Old Forum | Forum Archive

Hey everyone,

I'm a first-time JoomlaCloner/XCloner user. Right now i'm simply trying to get the hang of using JoomlaCloner/XCloner, specifically the RESTORE function. I've transfered a backup of the target website onto my local computer, and I want to restore that copy onto my local version of Joomla. Yet, whenever I try to clone the backup the browser seems to be stuck in an infinite loop. I press the continue button and it looks like XCloner it waiting on the local host. Any thoughts on the cause and possible solutions?
