I beleive I have all the information completed in all the config areas.
I ran the backup. It took 2 to 3 minutes. Then gave me a 500 Internal Server Error.
It did create a zip file exactly where I told it to. ABout 5.84 mg
I tried to unzip it to see what was there. But gave me errors.
Is this process normal, or after backup should I get a screen saying it is done or something like that.

Hi there! This problem is described in our FAQ http://www.joomlaplu.....Itemid,56/ , the reason you got the error is probably becuase of yout server memory_limit!
The best solution for that would be to update the component to the latest version http://www.joomlaplu.....e,updates/ , go into the Configuration area and activate the checkboxes near the zip and mysqldump utilies!

Alright here are my settings
/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/carltonbrooks.net/httpdocs/test/ (test = chmod 777)
Include backup directory = Yes
zip is active
mysqldumb is active
FTP mode = Normal
Results are as follows (To me it looks like it is working)
Arhcive Name test.zip
Number of Files 2770
Size of Original File 19.69 MB
Size of Archive bytes
Database Backup Settings Backup Completed ( 544.67 KB )
When I go to look for the zip file both on the server and in View backups there is no file there.
What do I look for next

BTW the word ARCHIVE is spelled wrong :blink:
