Hello, I've used XCloner before to move a site successfully. Now I have that same site and I want to set up another copy as a test site on another server. However, when I put the copressed TAR file up with the TAR and XCloner.php file and go to the borwser and type in the URL all seems OK. I put in the new, clean database info and click "Start" like normal but instead of extracting everything it goes to 0.14% and then downloads the XCloner.php file in the browser window. And because my system is set to open Dreamweaver for php files it opens DW and the XCloner php file. And the restore stops.
I thought it was a bad backup so I did another one and I got the same result.
thanks

OK, I had a chance to clear off all the files, delete the old database, run a new backup, get the TAR and Cloner from that install again and I get the exact same issue.
I went in and made sure I deleted the correct file. Refreshed and does the exact same thing.
I go back in and look in the directory and the .htaccess is back. I deleted it again to make sure, refreshed the browser and it did the same thing. Looked in the directory and .htaccessis back.

I host with siteground which is supposed to be one ot thebest Wordpress hosts. I asked them and they said that there is nothing on their end they are aware of that would cause this.
As I say, I've used it successfully on other sites. Could it be this theme? I'm using 456Ecology from Themeforest and a developer that sucks at support.
