Hi
can anyone help?
I have recently installed Xcloner on my joomla site after an upgrade from my hosting company from php 5.2 to 5.4 and was going through the php config section and noticed that in the INFO tab the "Exec () function support is disabled."
I tried DIACTIVATING both Active tabs in the General tab section as suggested , but nothing is happening.
I also noticed that in the General path info section it also states that the script is unable to determine both Tar utility and Mysqldump utility server path.
I have to apologise in advance for my ignorance in the field, but i am a complete novice that knows nothing about programming or working with servers. On a scale of 1 to 10 my knowledge is probably 4.
Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions

You can leave those options unchecked, XCloner will use alternative php classes to overcome those missing options. If you reinstall XCloner, the default settings should work just fine and you should be able to generate a full backup

You are unable to use the server utilities tar/mysqldump since exec() php function is disabled, uncheck those and it should work.

I have already uncheck those Server Use Options in the general tab.
and I have checked the permission for folder /administrator/backups is set to 777 and file

Dear,
My webhost does not allow me usr/bin/tar function, i want to use for zip. I have enable by taping zip instead of tar and active.
but still the same .
