Hi downloaded cloner a few hours ago - fantastic component 🙂
Have managed to clone/restore/backup/move effortlessly. But am hitting a problem with permissions.
If I use ftp - anything generated by the server (apache) fails because of permissions even though systeminfo says everything is writable.
example
Warning: fopen(/home/virtual/site40/fst/var/www/html/test/cache/rss20.xml): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/virtual/site40/fst/var/www/html/test/includes/feedcreator.class.php on line 711
I have to chmod both folders & files 777 to generate the feed.
owner & group generated by server = apache (48) /apache (48)
ftp owner & group = admin40 (572) /admin40 (572)
Is there anyway to set things up so that both admin40 & apache have permission? Or do I have to just go with direct install?
Direct install works but then I am not allowed to change/access some files even with JoomlaExplorer.

Hi there! Well the problem you have it's normal, because you won't be able to write to that directory unless it's set to 777, same with the files!
Is the cache directory writeable on your original site from where you made the clone? We take all permissions from the orginal and restore them on the cloned site!
Let me know if you still have problems! Ovidiu
