Hello,  New user here.

 

I had some problems with a live wordpress site recently, and unfortunately accidentally reset the theme, resetting the tons and tons of custom widgets along with it.

I am trying to restore the DB (and DB only) from an Xcloner backup file using the XCloner.php and TAR.php restore process, but I am getting the error:

 

"Unable to read the database backup file /home/*****/*****.com//administrator/backups/database-sql.sql , database was not imported!"

 

I have browsed the tar file in 7-Zip and the sql file seems to be there.  I have also used all of the proper DB information on the server.

 

Does anyone have any idea what the problem here might be?

Did you leave the Skip files restore option unchecked? If you only need to restore the database, then simply extract the administrator/backups/database-sql.sql file and import it through phpmyadmin.

Hi

i have a similar issue, but when i try to import my db via phpmyadmin, it leaves all blank without import anything :\

Could you be more specific on the issue "it leaves all blank without import anything :\", what exactly is the issue you are having?
