Hi Ovidiu,
Firstly let me thank you for the great XCloner system. When I get it working for all my sites I will donate.
However, a couple of my relatives have sites that are hosted on fairly "basic" plans and do not have crontab available.
I was wondering if it would be a big hassle to include an alternative scheduling method… but still offer the Amazon s3 config setup.
… Perhaps a means for XCloner to execute a cron config file in the /configs folder on say, a weekly basis at hh:mm time for example.
Or, could you suggest how I might achieve such scheduling.
BTW, On WordPress, the XCloner UI javascript script(s) seems to be conflicting with one or more of my plugins. Not a BIG deal, I almost prefer the single page with normal radio buttons etc. The main problem is the "Save" & "Cancel" buttons don't show.
– I have tried de-activating all other plugins but that couldn't isolate the problem.
I am able to run XCloner outside of WP, so that's OK. I have successfully moved the cloner.config.php above site root – with a little hacking! :).
Thanks again,
Chris
