In the config setup for a cronjob you can specify the file name, but when you do that, it uses that same name for all backups. This makes having multiple backups impossible.
It would be helpful if you could use variables or flags in the filename that would xcloner would replace with the appropriate value.
For example: mysite_weelky_(date).tar
would generate mysite_weekly_2012-10-31.tar
- and -
mysite_every8hour_(date)_at_(time).tar
would generate mysite_every8hour_2012-10-31_at_20-22.tar
