I realise you have bigger issues to deal with, but...
I suggest it would be helpful to see an Xcloner version displayed somewhere...
Perhaps in the footer "Powered By..." or, the "About" page.
Perhaps also whether Xcloner is a standalone, WP or Joomla install - I know this should be obvious, but when one is jumping between six instances.
-- Personally, I currently have a WP install in parallel with a standalone instance - for evaluation... (because of conflicts in WP plugin with Javascript somewhere - dTree, prototype ??).
Perhaps also an advisement if there is an update available - as would be the case in the WP plugin.

I second this suggestion.
I have found language related differences between the installed files in my sites and those in the current version. Although I don't need the language files I will upload the new ones just to be up to date.
