I have a GoDaddy VPS with about 15 domains... a mix of WP installations, html websites, and other web-based applications.
I figured out how to use a single installation of XCloner on one of my domains to create separate cron files for each database... so, I can, for instance, have a cron executed daily for an application that gets lots of updates; other crons executed weekly or monthly for sites that see little or no updates...
How can I get this type of set up for files too?
I saw that you have to move the administrator/backups folder to the root of a domain to be able to backup files from that domain like so: /home/domain_name/html_public/administrator/backups
I tried to move it up to /home/administrator/backups so that all of my domains would be under it; but, it looks like GoDaddy doesn't allow directory creation at that level... also, to execute the cron would require a full http link to it and there doesn't seem to be a way to create links to the /home/ level... even when using an IP address instead of a regular URL...
...any solution to this?
Our cron setup is explained here /wiki/index.php/Appendix , you can use cron configs to define multiple cron executables, then use their full server path along with the server php exexutable as suplied by your hosting support to properly configure the cron commands.
