Hi Fred, at the moment this is not possible directly with XCloner, but depending on your enviroment, there are other options to achieve this!

Thank you for your response.
I have a shared hosting 1&1. And I do not know how to encrypt the backup archive in this situation.
I have long looking backup solution with the ability to encrypt archive, which could be applied on shared hosting.
Just I need to store backups on remote ftp, and for Safety I would like have backups was protected by password
Thank you for good website backup tool!
Hopefully in the future XCloner will support encryption backup.

Due to the size of some of my backups, I am considering using Amazon S3 for storage. I know that it's very secure, but I was also wondering about encryption, so I found this thread. Since it was written, Amazon have come up with Server Side Encryption (http://docs.amazonwe.....ption.html and more specifically for PHP http://docs.amazonwe.....HPSDK.html).
Is it possible to enhance XCloner to use this facility on S3 ?
