Hello,

 

I'm trying to shift hosting providers for my Joomla web site and and hoping to use XCloner.

 

While I beleive I have to first make a backup before being able to clone, my site is about 500MB but when I begin to do the backup, the file size stops increasing at 294.74MB and it looks as if backup is continuing.

When the backup is complete and I download it to my PC, it gives an error when I try to open the .tar file.

 

Would really appreciate some help on this, pls.

Check your free disk size on your host and increase it if possible. Otherwise, you might need to create multiple backups by excluding content from your site, and transfer it by parts.
