Backups have no data, just an index.html file|General Questions and Support|Forum Archive|XCloner

I just installed XCloner as a stand alone install on a site running Zen Cart. On both the manual backup and the Cron job I am getting backup files that only contain an index.html file inside of a backups folder within an administrator folder.  I thought that I had selected to backup my database and my files and no matter what I do I cannot seem to get the software to actually make a backup.  What am I doing wrong?

I had a similar problem in Joomla and needed to turn off the compression ans the two Active Buttons on the General tab, but this other site will not work with the identical settings.  They are on two seperate servers, so perhaps the server is the issue?
