Hi there

I’m trying to use xcloner on several websites. But I don’t want to backup on (the same) FTP-server. I want everything on Amazons S3. I entered everything for amazon at the "cron"-tab.

But after making a backup only a backup on ftp is made. The active-button for amazon s3 is enabled. But nothing appears on the S3. No error. Only on ftp. But I only want S3.

Did I forget something?

Here is a screenshot:

If you are using a custom config for running the cron, make sure you update that as well with the new changes, usually re-saving it helps!

What does "custom config" mean?

Sure I use my own settings. And after entering my amazon details I update the site with "save".

Inside the XCloner Config Cron tab, there is a filled called Custom Config, did you use any values there? Could you post a full screenshot of your Cron config tab?

I don't have something called "custom config". But here are two screenshots of the cron-tab: http://cl.ly/403z3X1.....3q3T0L0n3D

It's like I told before: the FTP-backup works fine. But no amazon S3. There is even no error message.

Could you post here the full cron log output from when the cron runs? I see amazon option is activated, so it should at least try to connect to the S3 service.

I entered a mail-adress in the field, but after ab backup I didn't receive a mail. I tried it with three different adresses.

Can I find the log somewhere on my server (FTP)?

You cron scheduler should provide you with a cronlog, so try checking with your hosting provider on that!

I didn't make a cronjob on serverside. I start the job at Actions->Generate Backup->Continue.

This is different to the cronjob on my backend od my hosting provider? After pressing "Continue" xcloner start the backup and xclon should write the log, no?

No no... you need access to a cron manager to run the automated backups, please check here /wiki/index.php/Appendix the full details, as well the XCloner backend left menu link called "Cron"
