Hi,

under "Actions > Generater Backup > Files Options" I try to go up a level to choose the folder I'd like to backup. At the moment the server path I've installed Xcloner in is /homepages/32/d196035810/htdocs/xcloner_backup/  and the path I'd like to backup is /homepages/32/d196035810/htdocs/cms/

But nothing happens if I click on "[Up a level]"

What can be the reason for that? And how can I fix it?

Thanks for help

Uwe from Germany

Hi Uwe, in order to go up a folder from the default file structure, you need to adjust the "Backup Start Path" option from the XCloner Config area, i am guessing in your cause that would be /homepages/32/d196035810/htdocs/cms

Hope it helps! Ovidiu

Hi Ovidiu,

yes, that was the trick, thanks.

Now this works but I got another problem. After starting the backup it tells me the following:

There was an error retrieving the JSON data from the server, try again or contact the developers!

Details: error -- undefined

JSON url: index2.php?option=com_cloner&task=refresh&json=1&startf=100&lines=5798&backup=backup_2011-09-16_21-53_cms.heizkosten-optimieren.de-sql-nodrop.tgz&excl_manual=

++++++++++

How to fix that?

Thanks and best wishes from Germany
Uwe

Hmm, try and disable the backup compress mode and see if it helps!
