After installing xloner and logging in, I see the list of menu options (configuration, administration etc) but when I click any of them all I get is the welcome screen again on an endless loop. Also, I cannot seem to be able to change my password. There is no "save" button on my screen. Buttons in upper right say "login" and "cancel."

Try reinstalling XCloner and reset the permissions to all files inside it to 644 and 755 for all folders, if you still have issues, please check and see if there are any javascript errors related when opening it, looks like javascript libraries are not loaded for some reason.

I uninstalled, reinstalled and checked file permissions and they are correct. No javascript errors that I can see. I still get stuck in the same loop, cannot reset password and when I click on Configuration nothing happens.

Feel free to open a support ticket and let us look directly at the issue, could be something related to the hosting enviroment as well!
Btw, can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? Ovidiu

I am having the exact same issue after upgrading from joomla 2.5 to 3.2.2
Also I cant uninstall xcloner either to try a reinstall, because I get this error:
