CryHello Ovidiu,I am still having frustrating issues(been trying it for several weeks without success) entering my

***************************************

Backup Store Path Check: Invalid directory (/home/mywebsite.com/public_html/administrator/backups)

Temporary Path Check: Invalid directory (//administrator/backups)

Authentication: OK

Backup Ready: NO

I have also built a directory in Filezilla under mywebsite.com/public-html/administrator. I am very new to your plugin, and I know I will enjoy using it, but do need help in getting it up and running. I have pasted the info section below.

Temporary Folder incorrect or unreadable
the path [Backup Start Path/administrator/backups] needs to be created and be writeable in order for XCloner to work properly
Backup Start Path // is readable
the backup start path needs to exist and be readable in order for XCloner to start the backup process
Backup Path: /home/mywebsite.com/public_html/administrator/backups unwriteable
needs to be writeable in order for XCloner to archive backups

Backup Path:  /home/mywebsite.com/public_html/administrator/backups unwriteable

needs to be writeable in order for XCloner to archive backups

Tar utility server path:  /bin/tar

If the script is unable to determine the tar path automatically, you might need to uncheck the 'Active' checkbox near TAR line in General Tab

Mysqldump utility server path:  /usr/bin/mysqldump

***************************************

I would appreciate your guidance and expertise, as I made numerous attempts to get the paths correct and all have failed. Could you tell me what I am doing incorrectly? Thank you! ScorpioRose

Hi there! Beside creating the administrator/ directory, you also need to create the administrator/backups/ directory, once you do that, reinstall XCloner and see if it helps!

Frown Hello Again Ovidiu,

I have tried your suggestion but still have not been successful in getting the

Backup Store Path Check: Invalid directory (/home/mywebsite.com/public_html/administrator/backups)

Temporary Path Check: Invalid directory (//administrator/backups)

Authentication: OK

Backup Ready: NO

as I mentioned in the above summary. I believe I will like your XCloner plugin if I am able to get the paths correct, however, I am almost ready to give up, as I have been trying this for several weeks. I would appreciate,  and ask for your guidance and expertise once again, as I made numerous attempts to get the paths correct and all have failed in all attempts. Could I get guidance from you or anyone on the panel?

Thank you again! ScorpioRose

I am experiencing the same problem with the Temporary Folder. I am running on Windows, does that make a difference?

Temporary Folder incorrect or unreadable
the path [Backup Start Path/administrator/backups] needs to be created and be writeable in order for XCloner to work properly
Backup Start Path C:// is readable
the backup start path needs to exist and be readable in order for XCloner to start the backup process
Backup Path: C:\HostingSpaces\mydomain\mydomain.com\data/xcloner is writeable
needs to be writeable in order for XCloner to archive backups

ScorpioRose: did you create the administrator/backups/ directory structure under your site root? Make sure you did that and also made that path writeable, once you do that, reinstall XCloner, it should automatically reconfigure it's paths

Ted: please check ScorpioRose reply above
