Hi,
I didn't find any solution for this here.
1. My backups of files, do not recognize the "german umlaute" in them, and produce strange characters for them.
The sql backup files are correct.

Hi,
Yep, here is the Original just a part of the file. It`s a smarty .tpl file.
EDIT:
I removed the code. Your Forum parses the wrong "umplaute" back to right encoding", so that they will appear right.
But, if i Restore the files back to my server, it willl be outputed wrong.
