Hi,
In error, I have somehow erased all the pages in my Wordpress site. I was attempting to create a more secure username and password. Anyway, the information has gone.
Luckily, I do regular backups and have a complete XCloner backup from just 12 hours ago.
I just can't figure out how to do the steps in the instructions. I just want to restore my site to how it was, - to the same location.
When I look inside the domain using ftp, under "administrator/backups", I can see that the individual backups are all there.
I think I might just need a script or something that will access that backup and put all the stuff back where it belongs.
Is there a simple instruction you can give me to put my site back how it was please ?
Appreciate any help you can offer
Regards,
Paul
As explained here /wiki/index.php?title=Restore_Backup#Restore_Backup_.E2.80.93_Manually , simply move the XCloner.php and TAR.php restore script as well as the backup archive to your site root, create a new database and start the XCloner.php restore script in your browser and follow the detailed steps!
Hope it helps! Ovidiu
