Moving/Cloning from Subfolder to Root - Error 500 - Internal Server Error | General Questions and Support | Forum Archive

Hi,

Wordpress was installed initially on a subfolder

http://mydomain.com/sub

I want to move it to the root:

http://mydomain.com/

I used xcloner to make a full back up. Then moved the backup to the root folder

/administrator/backups

Then attempted to run xcloner.php and got ERROR 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

Now, my entire new WP installation at the root level is not accessible - can't log in, can't access anything as it triggers this message from hostgator... here are some of the links the provide (to help fix?)
