Hi,
Wordpress was installed initially on a subfolder
I want to move it to the root:
I used xcloner to make a full back up. Then moved the backup to the root folder
/administrator/backups
Then attempted to run xcloner.php and got ERROR 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
Now, my entire new WP installation at the root level is not accessible - can't log in, can't access anything as it triggers this message from hostgator... here are some of the links the provide (to help fix?)
Understanding Filesystem Permissions
How to modify your .htaccess file
How to modify file and directory permissions
Thanks for any guidance you can offer to move my WP to the root level in the simplest way possible.
Stephen
