I have 4 different databases to backup.

mydb_db1

mydb_db2

mydb_db3

mydb_db4

What I don't understand is in the MySQL Connection settings, it asks me for one database connection.

So if I put in database mydb_db1, how does this backup the other databases?

You can backup the other databases if the mysql user is assigned to those as well, otherwise you can only backup them separately.
