Looking at your project and need to build/manage multiple profiles.

We have 3 machines

1. Dev,
2. Test,
3. Prod.

We have to do a real sync, right now Joomla, of:

1. Prod 2 Test (user entries, files, DB data),
2. Prod 2 Dev (user entries, files, DB data),
3. Test 2 Dev (user entries, files, DB data, live Patches),
4. Dev 2 Test (Content changes, templates, custom code, etc.),
5. Test 2 Prod (Content changes, templates, custom code, etc.).

So we have to use these 5 profiles.

Also "mysqldump" is not what we need for sync of DBs as we need only the deltas between the given "source" and "target" DB for a given profile.

We are looking at and actively working on this, and would like feedback from other users here that are doing similar things.

First Qs are where in your code to I find a place to add sub-item (under the left menu item "Configuration") of "Profiles"

Next where is the code to add to the screens at:

../XCloner/index2.php?option=com_cloner&task=config

Cause I need to add "Create" button to give Pop-up for "Profile Name" and then Dropdown box to show available profiles.  Think this should go in it's own MySQL DB, unless the intent to to be "Stand-Alone" and thus DB independant.  Can add to the current cloner.config.php file but will then need to:

• Create new var $_CONFIG[n]['profileNAME'] = "profilename";
• set all the profile specific vars to "$_CONFIG[n]['xcvar']" where "n" is the profile number 0-x and xcvar are the existing vars and/or dups thereof,

Feed back on this would be good.
