I forgot my password and went to my cpanel to edit the xcloner config file as detailed in the xcloner screen.
My cpanel response was that it would attempt to unencript the file so it could be edited but unencripting is not always successful. If the unencripting is not successful what are my other options for changing the password? Should I delete xcloner and reinstall.
It would seem by the cpanel message that the xcloner config file is encripted which is a good security measure. If I edit it will that file now be unencripted and the password visible to a hacker. Thanks in advance for your help.
All the best,
Ted Sudol
