SQL Basic Questions - Does it reconfigure content names in My SQL data or in the Joomla settings?

I know very little about SQL and databases and I just want to be sure that I am assuming this correctly,

When XCloner works it somehow backs up the data from your My SQL files and and allows you to apply them to another server or directory. What confuses me is the original "table names" and "username" from the server, that is already on My SQL fies..

During a transfer or clone,

- Does XCloner write over those "table names" and "user names" somehow, does it add to them, or change them?
- If so, does it also change the settings within Joomla config file to coincide with the new settings?

- What about other add-ons to Joomla, like Jomsocial, does it automatically configure those databases?

I did try to read the support docs and searched this forum, but I can not think very clearly when trying to understand something so foreign or technical , so just want to make sure I am assuming this correctly......   I guess we will see.
