Strange download when I try to restore - Assistance requested

Hi,
I am trying to move a website and I use the clone button to ftp to the new site.
I go to the new site and click on Xcloner and it starts to work, it gets to 1.7% and then tries to download an oddly names file and does not coninute. The directory shows that it has unzipped all the files but never goes further.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be casuing it?

Try and extract the backup archive manually, then restart the restore process with the Skip files restore option checked. Also, delete the restored .htaccess file before you start the database import.
