Hi there i have just had to do a restore to the site from one week ago, the site gives a blank screen on many of the links stating error message 404 - Category not found.
Furthermore the xcloner back up does not work providing the following message:

To fix this, simply go in the XCloner COnfig->System tab area and set Backup Mode option to Normal, then try again the restore process.

not sure where you mean.
i have gone into the system tab and then down to the Backup Refresh Mode tab, i changed the settings from Ajax to normal aand then ran the back yo again.
Yes it worked fine, it would appear to have fixed the issues

this did not work for me. got that JSON error ... then turned "normal on" (you need to be more precise with your instructions, guys) ... then tried to start the backup (clone) ... after 15 mins of my dashboard page going crazy with refreshes ... (and what ... I can't leave the page??) ... then the page goes blank.
When I return, I cannot tell if this backed up or not. All indications are that this is not backed up.
