I've read too much posts about login to x-cloner after installation and I saw that recommendation is to give 777 permissions to folder referred in session.save_path variable. I have this variable configured as  /var/lib/php/session. It wouldn't be a security issue to change this folder permissions to 777?

Thank you very much!

Yes, it would, check with your hosting support to see which permissions can be used, basically you need to give writing permissions to that folder for the user running apache server.
