Hello,

I have created a backup with XCloner, but it seems to be corrupt. When downloading it from XCloner, the file size is much smaller than the size shown in XCloner. After downloading it via FTP, the size is correct, but WINRAR and 7-ZIP both warn "Unexpected end of archive". Nevertheless I can watch the archive's content, and there are definitely missing several files and directories.

Best regards

Manu

Have you checked the disk space available on your site, is there enough to create a full backup?

Yes, there is enough space to create a full backup.

I get a blank screen after the backup.

But after clicking on "View Backups" the new backup is shown in the list.

Blank screen usually indicates that the backup process is not working for some reason, can you tell me what changes have you done to the default XCloner settings? My suggestion is to leave the defaults after install and try to generate a backup with those options in place.

I installed it again and changed user and password, Backup Start Path and Backup Store Path.

Then I clicked on "Generate Backup". It started, but at 26% it stopped with the following error message:

There was an error retrieving the JSON data from the server, try again or contact the developers!

Details: error -- undefined

Retry leads to the same error.

I checked again if JSON is enabled for my website. It is enabled, JSON version 1.2.1. PHP Version 5.2.17.

Usually that indicates either a timeout or a limitation from the server, so check if:

1. there is enough disk space to continue generating the backup

2. open the administrator/backups/perm.txt file and look at the lines(+100) indicated by the 26% from the error, is there any large file you are trying to backup? if so, try and exclude it

3. decrease the Files to process per session option(XCloner Config ->System tab) to a smaller value than 100, try 25 and see how it goes
