Hey
I have been using the X-cloner many times and I love it.
But this time I get a 500 Internal Server Error when im trying to install my clone to a new server.
Some parts of the files and folders are clone wothout any problems but then I get a white page with this info:
The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred,
and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.
I guess it's a time issue. But how can I fix it?
I have manual backup set to YES.
Please help
Best regards
HI there! Could you give us more details about where you are with the restore process? When exactly do you get that error? During files transfer or database import? If it's files transfer, have you tried the "Install files directly" option?
Also check the disk space available and make sure there is enough to make a full restore, usually twice the backup size
Regards, Ovidiu
Have you tried checking the "Restore by using server utilities" option checked when restoring?
If so, and still have issues, I would advise extracting the backup archive manually, and then restarting the restore process with Skip files restore option checked
Regarding the 500 error, you can find more details on that in your site error log, it might be related to a memory_limit or time execution limit, so try and increase them in your site php.ini config and see if it helps

Not working with "server utilities".
I have moved my site to the new site manually. It took a while but the site is now working but it runs on my old MySQL database.
If the site should run with the new MySQL should I run the "Skip files option"?
Will it make all the settings automatic or should I make any settings manually after the "skip files ..." ?
I'm not so awesome at MySQL so sorry for all the questions =)
Yes, as i previously mentioned, the restore process is the same, upload the backup archive and restore script to the new location, and since the files were already restored, check the "skip files" option to finish the rest of the restore process, including the new mysql database setup
Hope it helps! Ovidiu
