Accuracy of 'delete old backups' option - too accurate!

Hi,
I like to keep the last 3 XCloner backups (grandfather, father, son principle) and therefore I have the 'delete old backups' option under the 'Cron' tab of the configuration settings set to 3.
However it appears to be quite a common event that the older 4th backup is a second or so 'younger' than 3 days so I get left with 4 backup files.
This causes me to receive a storage warning message from my ISP and potentially risks my next night's backup failing by running out of disk storage.
Is there any way that I can set XCloner to delete backups older than, say, 2 days, 23 hours and 58 seconds?
I appreciate that I could reduce the setting from 3 to 2 but then I would often only have 2 backups to fall back on!
Thanks,
Bill
