I'm getting the dreded json error too.

 

This is a site on godaddy hosting, I'm trying to get the site onto my server for the client.   I've reduced requests to 25 and also split at 24Mb.

The error message says line 8874, which is the last line in perms.txt

 

let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Try and exclude the stats/ directory, it should help!
