Hi from Spain: great work. I upgrade my Joomla site from 1.5 to 2.5.3 and installed xcloner: always the tar file have 30 MB but the original site 219 MB. Review all server parameters not found any limitation.

Hi Angel, you need to check:
1. how much disk space you have available
2. if your hosting server allows writing to files over 30MB in size

I review the disk space avalaible at server host (5 Gb) and the permission to writing to files over 30MB (a testing with 80 Mb upload to media directory). I upgrade to 3.5.4 and have similar problem. Making spilt for the file (78 MB) not problem obviusly. I review php, joomla and tar configurations files and not have a limitation for this function (to 2 Gb limits i read) 🙁

Are you able to make a php fwrite() test to a file larger than 30MB and see if it's size increases? If you like, feel free to open a support ticket and we can do further tests to see the actual issue!
